Storage of cytospins and slides (not paraffin sections).

Pair the slides two by two, the cytospin / section facing each other, with a fine cotton thread inserted in between.
Pile up to 4 pairs of slides together, place on a flat new piece of Saran wrap.
Wrap the slides by folding several times the foil.
Fold back the sides, sealing the packet.

Label the packet and freeze at -80°C for long term storage.

Thaw the unopened packet before unwrap to avoid moisture deposition on your unfixed cells.
