Small sample sets (<10 reactions) can usually be accommodated on the same day. Please consult with the facility for large project requirements or priorities.

Sample Guidelines Deposit DNA (see below for preparation requirements) along with completed and signed order sheet by 3.00pm to RBP Room 408. We recommend that you retain a copy of the order sheet for your records and sample tracking. Late arrivals will be run the following day. Results are typically ready two business days later, and will be posted in the ICG1 server for retrieval. Any remaining DNA from samples may be picked up in RBP Room 408. Contact facility for pricing. DNA Sample Requirements Sequencing substrates should be deposited in 1.5ml tubes carrying DNA and PRIMER names exactly corresponding to those in the order sheet. PLASMID: Concentration: 0.25 µg/µl in dH₂O Minimum: 10 µl per reaction PCR PRODUCT: Concentration: varies depending on PCR product size as follows: 100-200 bp: 5 ng/µl 200-400 bp: 10 ng/µl 400-600 bp: 15 ng/µl 600-1000 bp: 25 ng/µl 1000-2000 bp: 50 ng/µl Minimum 10 µl per reaction COSMID: Concentration: 2 µg/µl in dH₂O Minimum: 10 µl per reaction Primer Requirements Stock primers are provided by the facility: M13 forward, M13 reverse, SP6, T3 and T7. Please clearly indicate on the order form if the facility is providing primers. Other primers should be deposited with DNA substrate: Concentration: 1pmol/µl; 5 pmol per reaction.
